Conservative Australia group releases anti-marriage equality video
As the fight for marriage equality continues in Australia, both sides are seeking to gain ground.
One of those groups is the Australia Coalition for Marriage.
Recently, this group released a 30-second video voicing the concerns of parents over their children’s potential exposure to LGBT+ positive education.
One concerned woman, Cella White, can be heard saying, “school told my son he could wear a dress next year if he felt like it.” The concept of a boy wearing a dress seen as a tragedy.
According to reports, after checking with the school, the principal noted that none of the teachers had made such claims.
Furthermore, much of the video implies that educating children on LGBT+ issues will result in the children becoming gay.
Naturally, this is an unproven correlation and many now accept that one does not choose their sexuality.
As the debate continues, it is important to note that those in favor of marriage equality are in the lead.
The “vote no” side will have to try harder or prepare for defeat.
