NW Arkansas celebrates National Transgender Day of Visibility
Commemorate National Transgender Day of Visibility hosted by The Transgender Equality Network in the Springdale area.
They will be using the day to highlight issues transgender people face daily and give people an opportunity to get to know transgender people as part of our ever-growing community.
"Our focal point will be a full Q&A panel to bring attention to valued topics of interest. There will be a line-up of professionals going over various issues. By discussion of these topics face to face we will become stronger in our community by communicating with one another," said Sandra Kalista, event organizer.
They will have tables for trans- friendly/owned businesses, allies and organizations.
There will be a small lunch available.
The event will begin Saturday, March 31 at 1:00 p.m at Arkansas Support Network at 6836 Isaac's Orchid Rd. The event is scheduled to end around 5:00 p.m.
