Celebrity Attractions announces 2017-2018 Broadway season in Tulsa
(Tulsa, OK) Celebrity Attractions is proud to announce an extraordinary lineup of six national tours coming in the Celebrity Attractions’ 2017-2018 Broadway Season to the Tulsa Performing Arts Center and announce a special sneak peek at a show in the following 2018-2019 Season.
Celebrity Attractions’ 2017-2018 Broadway Season includes the “Under the Sea” tale of Disney’ The Little Mermaid; the sensational romantic thriller The Bodyguard; the 2014 Tony Award-winner for Best Musical - A Gentleman’s Guide To Love & Murder; the behind the scenes incredible story of Peter Pan in Finding Neverland; the hills are alive with The Sound Of Music; and the season concludes with the story of romance, charm and new beginnings earning more awards than any other musical in the 2015 season - An American In Paris.
The national tour of the Broadway musical Hamilton will play in Tulsa as part of the following Celebrity Attractions’ 2018-2019 Broadway Season. With book, music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, direction by Thomas Kail, choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler and musical supervision and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire, Hamilton is based on Ron Chernow’s biography of Founding Father Alexander Hamilton.
Hamilton is the story of America's Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies who became George Washington's right-hand man during the Revolutionary War and was the new nation’s first Treasury Secretary. Featuring a score that blends hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B, and Broadway, Hamilton is the story of America then, as told by America now.
The best way to guarantee tickets to HAMILTON is to purchase a season subscription for the 2017-2018 Season. Subscribers who renew their subscription for the 2018-2019 Season will be able to guarantee their tickets for the premiere Tulsa engagement of Hamilton before tickets become available to the general public.
