Love is a good response to hate

Steve Savage & JR Johansen, a legally married couple, kiss out side a Chick-fil-A restaurant in Oklahoma City.

Supporting gay marriage, activists Steve Savage and JR Johansen had no problem showing Chick-fil-A that love is a good response to hate. These hot hunks held their own “kiss-in” at a Chick-fil-A in Oklahoma City, protesting the outward stance Chick-fil-A president Dan Cathy has towards gay marriage. "I think we are inviting God's judgment on our nation when we shake our fist at him and say, 'We know better than you as to what constitutes a marriage,'” Cathey said last month on the Ken Coleman show, a syndicated weekly radio talk show. Savage and Johansen have been partners for eight years and were legally married in Connecticut three years ago.

According to reports, nationwide, at least 15,000 people participated in the kiss-in. “We had cars stop, honk & cheer,” said Savage. “Not one negative response.” The two modeled their pose after the famous 1940's photo. Today (August 7th) is also “Sip on Starbucks for today's Chick-fil-A counter protest.” Starbucks has always been a longtime supporter of LGBT rights.
