Kansas City Pride Fest 2016 slogan and dates announced

The Kansas City Diversity Coalition is proud to announce our slogan for KCPrideFest 2016: “Reflections of Equality” Submitted by Stef Watson.  Her description of the theme: "Like a rainbow reflects light in water droplets, the LGBTQIA Community reflects human equality."  

Two months ago, the KCDC asked our community to submit ideas and slogans for this year’s festival.  Finally, the list was narrowed down to the top three after receiving dozens of ideas and suggestions and our wonderful community overwhelmingly voted for “Reflections of Equality”.  We would like to thank everyone for taking the time to submit your ideas and Congratulate Steff Watson’s for her slogan.

KCPrideFest will take place at Berkley Riverfront Park on June 3rd, 4th and 5th.  The KCDC has been extremely busy planning this year’s exciting festival with more details and announcements coming soon not only about the festival, but upcoming fundraisers.   The best way to stay connected is by going to our website www.gaypridekc.org or better yet become a friend on Facebook-“Kansas City Pride”.
