OKC Zoo offers promos to reach a million guests by year's end

Special buy one-get one admission promotion begins December 23

This holiday season, the Oklahoma City Zoo has not one but two gifts for you! From Monday, December 23, through Tuesday, December 31, the OKC Zoo is launching two admission discount promotions designed to entice Oklahomans to connect with wildlife this winter. The OKC Zoo is within 25,000 of reaching a million guests for 2019, and we are encouraging everyone to visit the Zoo and be a part of this milestone in the making.

“2019 has been a banner year for the Oklahoma City Zoo with three record-breaking attendance events and now the exciting opportunity to reach a million guests – an honor we can all share in,” said Dwight Lawson, OKC Zoo executive director/CEO. “We are grateful to our guests and members for the incredible year we are having. Without their ongoing support, this achievement would be impossible.”

• The OKC Zoo and Bob Moore Subaru are partnering to share the love of wildlife and wild places with you. Discover a free admission ticket to the OKC Zoo, courtesy of Bob Moore Subaru, inside The Oklahoman newspaper on Sunday, December 22. This ticket is good for one free general admission into the OKC Zoo through Tuesday, December 31, 2019. Guests must redeem the printed newspaper ticket at the Zoo’s ticket window to receive free admission. The ticket is included in a two-page ad, featuring a festive wildlife design that can be reused as eco-friendly wrapping paper for the gift-giving season.

BOGO Zoo Admission Deal, December 23-31, 2019

• Starting Monday, December 23, the Zoo will launch a “buy one, get one” or BOGO promotion in which guests will receive one free Zoo admission ticket with the purchase of another full-price admission ticket of equal or greater value. This offer is valid Monday, December 23, through Tuesday, December 31, 2019, and cannot be combined with any other discount or promotion. The Zoo is closed on Christmas Day. There is no limit to group size. The more the merrier!

Save the date for more fun with the Zoo’s Noon Year’s Party on Tuesday, December 31, from 9 a.m. to noon in the Zoo’s Canopy Restaurant. Party-goers will enjoy making festive hats, noisemakers, dancing/DJ, photo opportunities and more. This event is free with Zoo admission.

Make your December merry and bright with OKC Zoo admission deals that delight! The Oklahoma City Zoo is a proud member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums, the American Alliance of Museums, Oklahoma City’s Adventure District and an Adventure Road partner. Hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Regular admission is $11 for adults and $8 for children ages 3-11 and seniors ages 65 and over. Children two and under are admitted free.
