OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — One of Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders' top surrogates in Oklahoma says she's still reluctant to support Hillary Clinton's nomination, despite Sanders' call on Monday to support Clinton in her bid for the White House.

Former state Sen. Connie Johnson said Monday she and many Sanders supporters felt "deflated" after his speech Monday to his delegates in Philadelphia.

Sanders said it was imperative to elect Clinton and her running mate, Virginia Sen. Tim Kaine, drawing boos from the crowd.

Johnson is the vice chairman of the Oklahoma Democratic Party and an early supporter of Sanders, who had a ten-point victory over Clinton in Oklahoma's March 1 presidential primary.

Johnson says she plans to vote for the Democratic nominee, but that she's still hesitant to support Clinton.
