Celebrity Attractions names new CEO and COO

Celebrity Attractions, Inc. has announced Ed. L. Payton as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Drew Payton as Chief Operations Officer (COO). Both have been leading the company in those positions following the unexpected death of President and Founder Larry Payton in February.

Ed. joined Celebrity Attractions in 1997. Over his nearly 16-year career at Celebrity Attractions, he has served in the key leadership position of COO and General Counsel.

“I am honored and blessed to lead this great company and privileged to follow in my brother Larry’s footsteps,” said Ed. Payton. “With the senior management team, I am committed to moving the company forward and continuing our record of successes for employees, patrons, sponsors, partnerships, and nationally touring Broadway producers.”    

Drew joined Celebrity Attractions in 2003. Over his nearly 10-year career at Celebrity Attractions, he has served in multiple key leadership positions presiding over show contracts, market advancement, media production, and building management.

“My father, Larry, left us a great legacy of presenting quality family entertainment in all seven cities in which we present Broadway shows. Together with Ed., we look forward to leading the next exciting chapter,” said Drew Payton.
