Comedian Jen Kober coming to Walton Arts Center in June

NORTHWEST ARKANSAS, June 4, 2025 – Jen Kober is bringing her comedy stand up to Walton Arts Center on Wednesday, June 25 at 7:30 pm along with Jeffrey Jay.

Kober is an internationally headlining standup comedian, podcast host and actor. You may have seen her as the headlining comedian featured in Cirque Du Soleil's hit Las Vegas show MAD APPLE, or on “Hacks” or “The Mandalorian.” Kober is the real deal - she has crafted a style born out of her humble Lake Charles, Louisiana, upbringing where she has always brought folks together by sharing a laugh. Kober proudly accepted an award for best comedic performance on NPR's hit storytelling show "Snap Judgment" and is one of the top LGBTQ comedians working today.
She has appeared in incredible TV shows including “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” “The Middle,” “The Real Husbands of Hollywood” and most recently appeared on the hit Peacock series “Ted” and the Max series “Bookie” with Sebastian Maniscalco. You can spot Kober on several shows including RuPaul's Netflix sitcom “AJ & The Queen,” “Dead to Me,” “The Righteous Gemstones” on HBO and “The Purge” on USA. Kober was even a recurring guest star on “American Horror Story”.
Jay is a Los Angeles-based, transgender stand-up comedian born and raised in Texas. Since 2011 Jay has made his living touring the NACA college circuit and to date has done hundreds of shows that combine stand-up with a comedy Q&A.
He’s been seen on HULU, the CW’s “The Eye Opener,” The Guardian, in The Advocate as one of the top seven transgender comedians and one of seven LGBT comics you shouldn’t have missed, and he regularly headlines national and international comedy festivals.
As a writer, Jay was shortlisted by the BBC Writers’ Room, the comedy writer for Feast of Fun, Austin Film Festival and Sundance in 2021 and 2022 and was a second rounder in the Warner Bros Writing Fellowship. He was a writers’ personal assistant and showrunner’s assistance on seasons six and seven of The CW’s “Riverdale” and “Pretty Little Liars” on HBO Max.
In 2022, the popularity of the “BEING Trans” podcast swept iTunes and Jay found himself featured in the New York Times.
