December "First Friday" in OKC's Paseo

Oklahoma City, OK (NOV. 27, 2015) – The Paseo Arts District's First Friday Gallery Walk for December will take place Friday, Dec. 4, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The Gallery Walk will have 22 galleries featuring over 80 artists who will host opening receptions, promising something for everyone.

The Paseo Art Space, at 3022 Paseo, will feature the opening reception for Claudette Torneden's CircusTorneden is an Oklahoma-based artist, photographer, and freelance traveler with a longstanding fascination with all things circus-related. Avid research of the history of Oklahoma circuses and a desire to document the dwindling examples of small-scale tent circuses led to the creation of the Circus series. People and places, which are disappearing in the modern climate, tend to be her main subjects.

Each First Friday, Paseo galleries offer special themed exhibits, refreshments, guest artists and a variety of entertainment opportunities.

Paseo, Oklahoma City's historic arts district is OKC's unique arts destination! Dozens of galleries, three restaurants and a handful of shops stand in distinctive Spanish Mission Revival style buildings, all within walking distance. Once you visit for a First Friday Gallery Walk, you will want to linger for the Paseo's unique atmosphere.
