Divas give Tulsa charity H.O.P.E.

Grab your pearl snaps and rhinestones to join the fun at DIVAS 4 H.O.P.E. (Health Outreach Prevention Education,) Inc.’s annual fundraiser. Pearl Snaps & Rhinestones-It’s Country Rock is an exclusive event that brings together nine of Tulsa’s local vocal artists: Cindy Cain, Pam Van Dyke-Crosby, Heather Richetto- Rumley, Jeff Cherblanc, Darell Christopher, Christy Hanewinkel, Mark Gibson, KC Lupp and Rebecca Marks-Jimerson for a fabulous concert.

There are many one of a kind silent and live auction items to bid on while guests enjoy heavy Hors d’oeuvres and sweet treats prepared by the chef at the Double Tree Hilton Marriott (61st and Yale).

A sneak peak at the live auction items includes a dinner for 12 with Aunt Pearl (Joe Sears), creator and star of Tuna Texas, Tuna Christmas and other Tuna show’s, a week in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware; Roof Top Dining with live entertainment by Mark Gibson; a week stay in St Kitts; an Ivanka Trump designer ring valued at over $3,600; and many more.

The event will be held August 22, beginning with a reception at 6:30pm. The concert begins at 7:45pm; emcees are the “fabulous and talented” KC Lupp and Heather Richetto-Rumley.

The Divas who will be performing include KC Lupp, Heather Richetto Rumley, Daryl Christopher, Tavis Minner, Christy Hanewinkel, Mark Gibson, Pam Van Dyke, Cindy Cain, Jeff Cherblanc, and John Sawyer.

All proceeds from the event support H.O.P.E.’s services, which focus on prevention, education, counseling, and testing for those most at risk for HIV, STD, and Hepatitis C. For those who test positive, linkage to medical care and social services is provided.

The event will be held on August 22 at Double Tree by Hilton, Warren Place (6110 S. Yale Avenue, Tulsa) and begins at 6:30pm with a reception, and the performance begins at 7.45pm.
