Escape…without all the hassle

Imagine yourself escaping for a long weekend at your favorite Oklahoma campsite. But this time, you pull up to camp, and all you need is right there, set-up and ready to go.
All you have to do is unload your clothing and food for the excursion.
“Our service allows you to experience camping with the comforts of home,” said Shawna Tanner, owner of Nature Awaits RV Rental. “Our units include AC/heater, refrigerator, shower and comfortable beds.”
They set it all up for you. All you have to do is pick out your site, drive there and enjoy. And Nature Awaits will teach you how to operate the RV and will be available for any questions that may arise.
Each rental also comes with four fishing poles, a tackle box, an outdoor table and lawn chairs. All linen and kitchen items are also included.
“Renting allows you to pay for only the time you are using the RV,” said Tanner. “If you purchase you will be making payments on something that you may only use once or twice a year. It also frees you up from the routine maintenance required. Owning also requires a vehicle to tow which can be costly as well.”
Tanner said some of her favorite things about camping is when they have turkey and deer walk through their camp.
“It’s also great to be camping at the lake and being the first ones to start fishing when the water is still like glass,” she said. “I also enjoy sitting around the campfire and relaxing of an evening after a great day of hiking. I find camping to be one of the most relaxing things to do, and with an RV there’s no roughing it like tent camping.”
Tanner said they prefer the customer secures their camping site. Some campgrounds have an online reservation system which allows the customer to choose the location that best suits them.
“Some may want to be close to a boat dock, playground, bathrooms, etc.”
Nature Awaits focuses on Southwestern and Central Oklahoma. If the delivery is within 30 miles of Lawton, OK no extra fees apply, anything over 30 miles is $1.25 per mile.
Rental for the smaller unit is $80 per night. It sleeps four with a full-size bed in the front and bunk beds in the back.
The larger unit is $100 per night and can sleep seven to nine people. It has a full-size bed in the front, the kitchen table and couch make into a bed and bunk beds in the back with a larger bed on the bottom.
