Following Hurricane Irma’s destruction, residents are trying to return to their homes and patch their lives back together.
Helping with the efforts, Jim Gilleran, the owner of 801 Bourbon Bar, decided to open his bar as a shelter and place to eat for those affected.
“My father taught me to take care of myself and my family so I can take care of my community,” Gilleran said in reports.
Shortly after the storm passed the island, Gilleran opened his bar, started running his generator and has been offering 700-800 free meals daily according to The Palm Beach Post.
If this is what the gay agenda looks like, it’s something to take pride in.
