LGBT musician LP to perform in Dallas

By Zoe Travers
LGBT singer LP is coming to Dallas March 3 with her “Heart to Mouth” tour.
LP is the artist behind the song “Lost On You,” among other hits, and she’s even written songs for Cher, Rihanna, the Backstreet Boys, and Leona Lewis. She’s known for her powerful singing voice and vibrato as well as her androgynous and casual style.
Interview Magazine described her characteristics as “wild, Dylan-at-his-most-electric hair, razor-skinny suits, and crooning, careening vocals.”
The singer has spoken out about her gender-neutrality, and Paper Magazine called her an “LGBT role model.”
In an interview with Paper Magazine, LP said “every generation brings new challenges of being gay. I think we're in a better time than ever, and we're also in a dangerous time.”
LP will perform at the Granada Theater March 3 at 7 p.m. Tickets are available online.
