Linda Harvey warns parents of Satanic LGBT curricula

Linda Harvey of Mission: America, an anti-homosexuality and anti-Islam Christian right ministry, recently wrote a column targeting the parents of children still in pro-LGBT public schools.

According to WND, Harvey wrote about “the Gender Unicorn” and the “Genderbread Person”.

“These and other trendy, gender-smashing curricula are deeply harmful and inaccurate, maintaining there are three or more sexes – male, female and ‘other’ – in a Satanic smorgasbord of ever-changing fluidity.”

Harvey stated, “These are demonic, deceptive constructs meant to mislead impressionable children,” and urged parents “remove [their] child from public schools.”

In her article, Harvey said, “Male and female are separate and distinct, with the exception of a tiny number of people with an ‘intersex’ birth defect” before citing an article about the “cult-like attributes of gender anarchy.”

Linda Harvey founded Mission: America in 1995 in Columbus, Ohio. The group, as of March 2012, is designated by the Southern Poverty Law Center as an active anti-LGBT hate group. The group has spoken out against the openly gay Albus Dumbledore of the Harry Potter books as well as the organization PFLAG (Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays) in the past.
