Patricia Velasquez, the world's first openly lesbian supermodel, stars in the Caribbean-set lesbian Spanish-language ensemble romantic drama, Liz In September. The film is directed by prestigious Venezuelan director Fina Torres (Woman On Top, Cannes winner Oriana).

The film is based on the classic lesbian play Last Summer at Bluefish Cove, and adapted and set in a contemporary Caribbean beach retreat.  Liz In September stars author, actress, Latino activist, and international supermodel Patricia Velasquez (Arrested Development, The Mummy franchise, The L Word), who recently garnered international attention with the release of her 2015 memoir Straight Talk.

Liz takes us through her extraordinary path to success, including her struggles growing up in poverty and her coming out as the world's first openly lesbian Latina supermodel, and becoming an indigenous rights activist. Ms. Velasquez, known worldwide for her modeling, acting, and producing, is a published author, successful beauty products entrepreneur, and a passionate advocate for Latino causes.

In Liz In September, Ms. Velasquez plays Liz, a wild womanizer celebrating her birthday with friends at a Caribbean beach retreat - but she is also hiding a terminal illness. When a young and beautiful yet emotionally wounded young woman arrives (Eloísa Maturén), Liz's friends dare her to seduce the newcomer, yet nothing turns out as expected.

The encounter between these two opposites changes both their lives, setting new perspectives where love, life, and death play out as simple steps of nature.

The ensemble cast includes a vibrant group of Latina actresses, from newcomer Eloísa Maturén (upcoming star of a major TV series in Venezuela produced by Venevision) playing the romantic lead opposite Ms. Velasquez, to veteran actress Mimi Lazo, acclaimed and popular in Venezuela.

The film is released on DVD & VOD and ready for purchase at www.wolfevideo.com/?R=1431.
