Logo's "RuPaul's Drag Race" milestone 100th episode

Eighth season premiere of hit reality show outperforms last year's debut across all platforms to become highest rated premiere in three years:

New York, NY, March 14, 2016 – Fresh off the heels of the highest-rated year in the network's 10-year history and becoming the only cable network to post ten consecutive quarters of year-over-year growth, Logo continues to raise the bar with the return of "RuPaul's Drag Race."

Last Monday's Season 8 premiere, which also marked the show's 100th episode, was the franchise's best debut in 3 years and beat its prior season launch by +6% (P18-49 Live 3). Across premiere night, including encores, the episode was watched by almost 1 million people and was also streamed 1.5 million times.

The wildly successful series also dominated the internet throughout premiere day, trending across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.  Twitter engagements on live tweets during the premiere outperformed 3x's industry standards with an average engagement of 18-19%. In addition, the show was listed under Google's top trends.

The premiere accounted for an increase of 205% Unique Visitors and a 357% uptick in Page Views on LogoTV.com in comparison to last year's debut.

An all-new, Queen-sized 90-minute episode of "RuPaul's Drag Race" airs tonight, Monday, March 14th at 9:00 PM ET/PT on Logo.  The queens are challenged to perform in a 'Pitch Perfect'esque drag-appella sing-off with a cliffhanger ending that will have everyone talking.

Special guest judges including songwriter and actress, Ester Dean ("Pitch Perfect," "Pitch Perfect 2"), choreographer Jamal Sims and RuPaul's music producer Lucian Piane will also join in on the fun.

RuPaul will continue to heat up Monday nights on Logo with the premiere of "Gay For Play Game Show Starring RuPaul" on Monday, April 11 at 10:00 PM ET/PT.

Shot in front of a live studio audience, contestants' entertainment IQs are put to the test when host RuPaul quizzes them on the hottest pop culture moments. As they answer hysterical trivia questions, contestants have to decide whether to trust their own instincts or to turn to the "Gay for Play" celebrity panel for help. Then as the competition heats up, contestants pair up with one celebrity panelist and have 69 seconds to answer as many trivia questions as possible for a chance to win cash and prizes.
