Free Family Day: Our City, Our Art at OKCMOA

All are invited to the Museum on April 10.
The Oklahoma City Museum of Art will host "Free Family Day" this Sunday, April 10, offering admission to the museum and special, family-oriented activities FREE of charge to all visitors. "Free Family Day" is a bi-annual event taking place from 12 to 5 p.m. Free admission and all activities for the day are made possible by SONIC, America's Drive-In.

WHO: Activities are appropriate for all ages and no reservations are required.
WHAT: "Free Family Day" includes access to all of OKCMOA's galleries (including the special exhibition, "Our City, Our Collection") as well as special Family Day events, including:
Best of the Fest:
- Kid Flix 1, see the latest and greatest short films for kids ages 3 and up from the 2015 New York International Children's Film Festival. Two screenings, 12:15 and 1:30 p.m.
- Performances by Spaghetti Eddie at 3 p.m. and the Sugar Free Allstars at 4 p.m.
- Sketching in the galleries.
- Hands-on art-making activities (including making crowns with MetroFamily Magazine, texture collages and a collaborative, large-scale installation of Oklahoma City's skyline).
- Family gallery experiences.
- Photo opportunities with Mr. Cherry Limeade and Mr. Coney.
PHOTOS/INTERVIEWS: Opportunities will be available to photograph visitors and to interview Museum staff.
