Paycom Software, Inc. (NYSE: PAYC) (“Paycom”), a leading provider of comprehensive, cloud-based human capital management software, recently gave $50,000 to Free Mom Hugs through its employee giving program and company donation match. Paycom has continuously supported Free Mom Hugs’ mission of celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community through visibility, education and conversation.

“Our employees consistently demonstrate a deep commitment to supporting sustainable organizations that champion inclusivity and community care,” said Tara Steffens, corporate philanthropy program lead at Paycom. “Our team is proud to partner with Free Mom Hugs as they continue their vital work of spreading acceptance and education across the country.”

Free Mom Hugs was founded in 2018 by Sara Cunningham, an Oklahoman, to bring visibility and love to the LGBTQ+ community. This June marked 10 years since Cunningham and a group of volunteer moms marched in their first Pride parade. Today, the nonprofit has grown to over 40,000 volunteers registered nationwide — including 1,300 in Oklahoma — while continuing to provide support and hugs to those who may not receive them from others.

“Now more than ever, this donation ensures we can continue to provide essential educational resources and remind individuals everywhere that they are loved exactly as they are,” said Cunningham. “As our longest-running corporate sponsor to date, Paycom has continued to provide Free Mom Hugs with the resources to expand our programming to the LGBTQIA+ community.”

In the workplace, Paycom strives to promote transparency and foster an environment where all employees feel a sense of belonging. Through Paycom’s initiatives, such as its employee resource groups, including its PRIDE ERG, employees can find community across the organization.

The company has earned widespread recognition as an employer of choice, reflecting its commitment to belonging and an exceptional workplace culture. The company was recognized in multiple culture categories by Comparably, a popular review site with millions of employee ratings, earning spots on the Best Company for Diversity, Best Company for Women and Best Company Outlook lists among large U.S. companies in 2026.

Newsweek named Paycom one of America’s Greatest Workplaces for Culture, Belonging & Community for 2026, and Time included the company on its list of America’s Best Mid-Size Companies for the second consecutive year.

Paycom’s employee giving program supports a multitude of local and national causes, including youth programming, mental health treatment, programs for individuals with disabilities and food support for individuals and children in need. Paycom selects a wide range of nonprofits each year so employees can donate to organizations that align with their values.
