Tulsa Pride will be celebrated on Saturday, October 17, 2026, bringing the community together for a revelry rooted in the history, visibility, advocacy, and unity that have defined Pride for generations.

This year’s Tulsa Pride celebration will take place at 6th Street and Frankfort Avenue, just east of the traditional Pride Street location. The move is necessary due to ongoing road construction on 4th Street between S. Elgin Avenue and Lansing Avenue.

While the location will look different this year, the heart of Tulsa Pride remains the same. Pride has never been about a single street or venue; it is about our community coming together, showing up for one another, celebrating who we are, and continuing the work of creating a more inclusive future.

“In many ways, this year’s change in location is a reminder that Pride has never been about a single street or a single venue,” said Hailey Briggs, Executive Director of Oklahomans for Equality. “Pride is about community, and that feels especially important right now.

“Across the country, Pride celebrations are facing increasing challenges and pressure, and the future of these celebrations cannot be taken for granted,” Briggs continued. These reasons make it even more important to keep showing up for one another, honor the people and movements that made Pride possible, and make space for our community to come together. Wherever we gather, that spirit of Pride comes with us. This year, we’re proud to return to the roots of Pride, celebrating our history, honoring those who came before us, showcasing the people and organizations doing this work every day, and continuing to build toward a future where everyone can live openly and authentically.”

The 2026 celebration will emphasize the roots of Pride, honoring the history of LGBTQ+ activism and the people who paved the way while recognizing the individuals and organizations continuing that work today.

The Tulsa Pride Parade will also take place Saturday, October 17, and parade, vendor, and sponsorship registration is now open. Community organizations, businesses, performers, and individuals are invited to help make Tulsa Pride 2026 a celebration for the entire community.

We’ll announce additional details about programming, the parade, vendors, performers, and community activities in the coming weeks.
