OKC Phil presents a salute to Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band

Beatles favorites with full orchestra
(Oklahoma City, OK) -- America's #1 Beatles tribute band, Classical Mystery Tour, will take OKC back to the 60s with their tribute to Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band! CMT will perform with the OKC Philharmonic for a full concert including songs from the album and other classic favorites from The Beatles. Appearing with the OKC Philharmonic, Classical Mystery Tour will perform with the orchestra on Friday and Saturday, October 24 and 25, at 8pm in the OKC Civic Center.
Conductor Martin Herman, a long time Beatles fan, is pleased to have provided the transcriptions heard on the Classical Mystery Tour show. The Los Angeles Times called the show "more than just an incredible simulation...the swelling strings and soaring French horn lines gave Saturday's live performance a high goose-bump quotient...the crowd stood and bellowed for more."
