Dia de los Muertos: Celebration of death

Day of The Dead, or Día de los Muertos, is a celebration of Hispanic heritage which honors loved ones who have passed away. The event is held at Living Arts of Tulsa’s, 307 E. Brady, in downtown Tulsa’s Brady Arts and Greenwood Districts.  This time-honored tradition has been celebrated by Living Arts for 21 years. An extremely popular event, it captures the attention of thousands each year.

Activities will include: Viewing of the 50 plus Ofrendas(altars), two stages with live Hispanic music and dance performances, Day of the Dead Themed art exhibit, face painting, sugar skull decorating and other children’s activities, Café de Muertos (selling Bread of the Dead, Churros, and more!), many authentic Hispanic food venders, Day of the Dead themed sales booths, Soft drinks, coffee, hot chocolate, margaritas, beer, and tequila available, play Lotoria(a game similar to bingo), Dance with the Dead Skeleton Parade, Fire Dancers, and more!

Living Arts of Tulsa presents the 21st Annual Day of the Dead Arts Festival on 11/1/2015, 2pm -11pm at Living Arts of Tulsa (307 E. MB Brady Street) to celebrate a festival of Hispanic heritage which honors loved ones who have passed away. Admission is $5, CASH ONLY (Children 12 and under Free).
