OKC Phil offers a musical tribute to superstar group "Queen"

Performer Brody Dolyniuk handles the complex and difficult task of representing Freddie Mercury's vocals, and he sounds amazing leading the band and orchestra through the song list.

Oklahoma City - Featuring the incredible vocals of Vegas veteran Brody Dolyniuk, The Music of Queen is high-energy and huge fun. The Windborne production is a powerful tribute that soars through the classic hits of Queen as the group digs deep to bring out the best (and sometimes forgotten) tunes that Queen and Freddie Mercury recorded over the years. The OKC Philharmonic Pops concert features music from Queen albums: Classic Queen, A Night at the Opera, Sheer Heart Attack, News of the World, and A Kind of Magic.

Premiering in 2009, The Music of Queen has quickly garnered critical and fan acclaim. Performer Brody Dolyniuk handles the complex and difficult task of representing Freddie Mercury's vocals, and he sounds amazing leading the band and orchestra through the song list.

Performances are Friday and Saturday, February 21 & 22, at 8pm in the OKC Civic Center. Tickets range from $15 to $65 and are available by calling 405-TICKETS (842-5387) or 297-CCMH.
