Perry, OK, man arrested for shooting his husband

Kenton Thedford from Perry, OK, was arrested Saturday for allegedly shooting and killing his husband.

Around 6:30 a.m., officials said they responded to a home near 200 Birch Street in Perry to a possible shooting.

When police got there, they found James Russell suffering from a gunshot wound. They said that life-saving measures were attempted, but he was pronounced dead at the scene, according to KFOR. 

Thedford was found at the home and was arrested in connection with the shooting. According to officials, Thedford was booked into the Noble County Detention Center for homicide.
