Tulsa is guaranteed a "White Christmas"

Irving Berlin’s White Christmas, the stage adaptation of the beloved classic film will return to the Tulsa Performing Arts Center. This production is a special add-on production to the Celebrity Attractions’ 35th Anniversary 2018-2019 Broadway Season.

Irving Berlin’s White Christmas tells the story of a song-and-dance team putting on a show in a magical Vermont inn who fall for a stunning sister act in the process. Full of dancing, laughter and some of the greatest songs ever written, including Count Your Blessings Instead of Sheep, Happy Holiday, Sisters, Blue Skies, and the unforgettable title song, Irving Berlin’s White Christmas.

This show promises to be a merry and bright experience for the entire family.

Produced by Work Light Productions, the creative team of this brand-new production of Irving Berlin’s White Christmas includes direction and choreography by Randy Skinner, scenic design by Anna Louizos, scenic supervision and adaptation by Kenneth Foy, lighting design by Ken Billington, and sound design by Peter Fitzgerald and Erich Bechtel. 

The tour is produced by agreement with R&H Theatricals, an Imagem Company. 

Irving Berlin’s White Christmas features Music and Lyrics by Irving Berlin with Book by David Ives and Paul Blake and is based upon the Paramount Pictures film written for the screen by Norman Krasna, Norman Panama and Melvin Frank.

The New York Times exclaims “this cozy trip down memory lane should be put on your wish list.”  And, the New York Daily News hailed Irving Berlin’s White Christmas as “a holiday card come to life.” 

Presented by Celebrity Attractions and the Tulsa Performing Arts Center Trust, Irving Berlin’s White Christmas comes to the Tulsa Performing Arts Center for eight performances only November 20-25.

The performance schedule is Tuesday, and Wednesday at 7:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m., and Sunday at 1 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Due to the Thanksgiving Holiday, there will be no Thursday performance.

Irving Berlin’s White Christmas is a special add-on production to the Celebrity Attractions’ 35th Anniversary 2018-2019 Broadway Season. The season also included Tulsa’s most popular musical, Wicked, and the spellbinding sequel to The Phantom of the Opera, Love Never Dies.

Coming up, we’ll see Broadway’s funniest and longest-running play The Play That Goes Wrong, an irresistible slice of musical theatre heaven with Waitress, the joyous classic to ‘raise a cup to’ with Fiddler On The Roof, and the season concludes with Hamilton, making its Tulsa debut.
