Tulsa's OkEq "Come home for the holidays" art opening and exhibit

OkEq First Thursday art opening & exhibit features group Gallery Show and sale “Friends of the Gallery, come home for the holidays.”

(TULSA, OK) The December Oklahomans for Equality (OkEq) showcase and exhibit of local artists at the Dennis R. Neill Equality Center will feature a Group Gallery show and sale “Friends of the Gallery, come home for the holidays.” The event begins with a reception on Thursday, December 6th from 6-9pm; art is on display throughout the month.

The show and sale will feature a wide variety of media represented by almost 30 local artists. All work on exhibit and for sale will have a holiday theme and will be perfect for your holiday gift-giving.

The list of artists includes: Sharon Alred, Margee Aycock, Michael Benton, John Byrne, Cynthia Brown, Jan Calloway-Baxter, Heathyr Chenoweth, Linda Coward, Tom Clarke, Michael Christopher, Bruce Crouch, Kay Deardorff, Kim Doner, Mariquita Garcia-Lane, Patricia Glasco, Karen Greenawalt, Allie Jensen, John Kennington, Nick Kountoupis, Sharyl Landis, Josh New, Kessie Noel, Dennis Olsen, Daryl Reimer, Stephen Smith, Thomas Tabor, Robin Tilly, Crystal Walters, and Janice Wright.

The show begins with a reception on Thursday, December 6th, from 6-9pm at the Dennis R. Neill Equality Center, located at 621 E. 4th Street in Downtown Tulsa. There will be a door prize drawn of the artist’s work; the show continues throughout the month. www.okeq.org

Any purchased art may be picked-up beginning December 17th.
