Special to the Gayly

After finding her car spray-painted with anti-gay slurs, Erin Davies decided not to let her aggressors defeat her. She and her vandalised VW bug travelled across the country to interview Americans about their response to LGBT people and acts of wanton hate. The trip culminated in a documentary, FagBug.

The Paramount OKC and the Skirvin Hilton will sponsor a visit by filmmaker Erin Davies and her now famous ‘FagBug’ on Sunday, April 7. The Paramount will host two screenings of the documentary followed by a Q&A session with Davies.

The 2:00 p.m. matinee features $5 discounted tickets for youth 18 and under and their hosts (regular $10). The 6:00 p.m. showing is for adults only. Deli food, desserts, concessions and wine are available for purchase at the Paramount, and can be taken into the theatre. All ticket sales benefit OKC Pride.

The Paramount is located at 701 W. Sheridan on Film Row. Ticket sales, information and a link to the film trailer can be found at www.okcpride.org/fagbug.
