Church of the Open Arms in Oklahoma City will host a "Will Sing for Food" Benefit Concert on Saturday, December 2 at 7 p.m. All funds raised will support the Open Arms Food Pantry.

“Take some of your holiday dollars to help provide food for those in need,” say organizers. “Allow music focused on holiday cheer mixed with social justice to fill you with the spirit of giving.”

The event is free and open to the public. All are invited to this free evening of musical celebration at Church of the Open Arms featuring the music of local artists Peggy Johnson, Catherine Fuller and the musical ensemble, Mixed Company.

“In 2016 we provided 110,807 pounds of food to 3,974 households, which included 9,382 persons.” Sadly, organizers also said they expect these numbers to grow as Oklahoma services are reduced or removed for families in need.

Church of the Open Arms is located at 3131 N Penn in OKC.  Love offerings accepted. For more information, contact Pastor Kayla Bonewell at 405-525-9555 or pastorkayla@gmail.com.

The Open Arms Food Pantry is a member agency of the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma.
