Looking for a good laugh in Oklahoma City? Look no further than 51st Street Speakeasy April 13th as comedian Aaron Wilder will be headlining a show that’s sure to be a riot. Wilder tackles subjects such as sex, drugs, money, relationships and work with his irreverent, conversational comedy stylings.

“I think all comedy has to be based in some sort of truth if it is going to be funny,” said Wilder. “Being the only gay comedian in the city is a great source of material. More importantly, I feel I have a responsibility to represent my community and bring people in.

“At the same time, I want people to see me as a comedian first and gay second when I'm on stage. I hope that anyone who may still be cautious around the LGBT+ community or doesn't know a gay person would leave my show more open and compassionate than when they came in.”

This will be Wilder’s first headlining show in the local comedy scene. “I'm so excited to be the star finally,” he commented.

Opening the night will be Michael Mann, Taylor Vinson and Steven Patchin and the event will be hosted by Madison Allen.

The show will be at 51st Street Speakeasy located at 1114 NW 51st St, Oklahoma City on April 13th at 9pm. Admission is free.
