Freedom Oklahoma continues search for executive director

Freedom Oklahoma, the state LGBT+ advocacy organization, has been searching for their new executive director.

“Freedom Oklahoma’s board of directors have been working hard over the last month to establish the direction of the organization moving forward,” said Brett Baldwin, chair of Freedom Oklahoma.

“We are defining the role the new executive director will play in leading the organization, advocating on behalf of Oklahoma’s LGBT+ community, and working with related organizations to bring about positive change and growth.”

The deadline for applications is October 15. Resumes may be sent to brett@freedomoklahoma.org.

“The search committee will be interviewing applicants the expectation of identifying the new executive director by mid-November,” he said.

New board members for the coming year will be announced around the same time as the new executive director.

“We are optimistic about the future of Freedom Oklahoma and Oklahoma’s LGBT+ community,” said Baldwin.
