Kevin Durant named Western Conference Player of the Week

For the second time in past three weeks, Kevin Durant was named the NBA's Western Conference Player of the Week. Durant is second in the league in scoring at 26.2 points and led the Oklahoma City Thundere to a 4-0 record last week. Over that span he was averaging 25.0 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.5 blocks. He also shot 60.7 percent from the field and made 6-of-13 attempts from 3-point range during the week.

Carmelo Anthony, the NBA leading scorer, won the honor in the Eastern Conference after leading New York to a 3-1 record.
