Dr. Courtney’s Skincare

 I cannot tell you the number of times I get asked by patients, “Dr. Caplin what do you use for your skin care regimen?”

Over the years I have become a bit of a product whore, on the never-ending quest to find the best of the best for each step in my daily routine.

Although certain brands have exceptional individual products, I have been let down by others in the line. Due to this disappointment, I am excited to announce that I have decided to create my own signature skincare collection.

Anyone who knows me knows that I am actually quite a nerd. So, when I embarked on this idea, I knew I would need to use a pharmaceutical level production company - meaning prescription strengths when applicable – which has also been backed by scientific studies and evidence.

Having prescription strengths available was important to me in order to get medical level results. For example, we all know that Tylenol and Ibuprofen are wonderful medications, but prescription strength pain medication is much stronger for a reason.

After researching the most reputable pharmaceutical company, the fun part began - selecting my products!

My team of employees at Cosmetic Surgery Affiliates were kind enough to help me with the challenge in sampling products with me. As we are a mixed group of different ages, skin colors, and skin types with varying concerns, we are actually a great representation of my patient population.

I know the most common complaints that patients have asked me about which can generally be divided into the following areas: acne, aging, redness, and pigment, so I wanted to focus on results-oriented treatments.

In addition to finding the best treatments for targeted problems, I have also selected products to encompass all the needs of routine skin care including hydration, protection, and prevention.

Having selected the top products to be included in my signature collection, I now am in the process of naming and labeling them.

Once these final stages are complete, the skin care line will be available at Cosmetic Surgery Affiliates, in office and through our website.

I already have a few of my own favorites but am so excited to share Dr. Courtney’s Skincare collection with you soon!
