National Gay Blood Drive July 11th

The Dennis R. Neill Equality Center in downtown Tulsa and the Oklahoma Blood Institute are teaming up for the National Gay Men's Blood Drive this Friday, July 11.
"Since 1983, gay and bisexual men have been banned from donating blood," said Toby Jenkins, Executive Director of Oklahomans for Equality and The Dennis R. Neill Equality Center. "Gay or bisexual men will not be allowed to donate at the events. Instead, eligible donors are being asked to give in their place."
Tulsa's event is scheduled from 2 to 7 p.m. this Friday, July 11, at OkEq, the Dennis R. Neill Equality Center, 621 E. Fourth St.
