Wichita’s Forum Theatre Company presents Deathtrap

Deathtrap is "Two thirds a thriller, one-third a devilishly clever comedy. Scream a little. It’s good for you," according to Cue Magazine. Wichita’s Forum Theatre Company brings this comedy-thriller to Wichita September 3 – 12.
Deathtrap is one of Broadway’s biggest hits. Written by Ira Levin, it features many plot twists. It holds the record for the longest running comedy-thriller on Broadway, and was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Play.
In the play, Sidney Bruhl, a successful writer of Broadway thrillers, is struggling to overcome a “dry” spell. A possible break in his fortunes occurs when he receives a script from a student. Thereafter suspense mounts steadily as the plot begins to twist and turn with devilish cleverness and abundant thrills. It will enthrall audiences until the final, startling moments of the play.
Performances are Sept. 3-12, Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8pm, Saturday matinees at 2pm. Tickets are $23 for Thursday evenings and Saturday matinees, and $25 for Friday and Saturday evenings, and are available online at www.forumwichita.com, or by calling the box office at (316) 618-0444.
