OKC’s Hotel Habana hires Jack Calcote as event coordinator

Jack Calcote is the new manager of the clubs in the Hotel Habana complex. He will serve as the event coordinator.

“The new future of the Hotel Habana complex is incredible, and the new owner and staff here support everything going on here,” said Calcote. "The future looks really awesome with the plans that are going through now.”

He said what is going on at the historical site of Hotel Habana will make our community very happy.

“I am so excited about my job and future here,” Calcote added. “The teamwork we have, and the support of each individual makes the new future just what is needed in our growing community.”

Hotel Habana owner Tom Lagatta praised the hotel’s new event coordinator.

“Jack has been a big part of this community for many years, and when the opportunity came, we were honored to be able to hire him,” said Lagatta. “He's been involved with numerous organizations that support and involve OKCs LGBT community, and he brings years of experience in operating businesses specializing in adult nightlife.

“We are honored to have him as part of our family at Hotel Habana.”

Club Exile is now open for high energy dance and fun. Silhouette, a jazzy, low key, intimate lounge, is now also open at Hotel Habana.

Calcote said he would be looking to hire individuals who are excited to help and support the changes at Hotel Habana.

“Energetic in high esteem personalities are the kind of people I love to work with,” Calcote added. “Which matches my personality.”

Calcote said he is always there to listen and help our community in any way.

“We must love and support each other. That is how our future will grow!”
