The Oklahoma City-County Health Department will continue offering free testing for hepatitis B, hepatitis C, and HIV to patients of the Dr. W. Scott Harrington dental practice that may now be living in Oklahoma County.

OCCHD will resume normal clinic hours beginning Monday, April 8.  All testing will continue free of charge at the Oklahoma City-County Health Department’s Main location at 921 NE 23rd, OKC, OK 73105. Free screenings will be provided on a walk-in basis during normal clinic hours Monday thru Friday 7:00am – 4:30pm.

In addition, the health department has set up a hotline at (405) 425-4437 for people with questions about hepatitis B, hepatitis C, or HIV.

Hepatitis B, hepatitis C, and HIV are serious medical conditions and infected patients may not have outward symptoms of the disease for many years. As a precaution, and in order to take appropriate steps to protect their health, it is important for these patients to get tested. It should be noted that transmission in this type of occupational setting is rare.
