Opening ceremonies set for Oklahoma State Fair

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Opening ceremonies are scheduled for the 107th Oklahoma State Fair.
The state fair opens Thursday morning at the fairground in Oklahoma City. Opening ceremonies are scheduled Thursday afternoon with entertainment provided by the Capitol Hill High School Drum Line, Dance Diversity Company and Honors Choir as well as the Oklahoma City Indian Princesses.
A variety of entertainment and musical performances are planned during the fair's 11-day run. They include daily performances by Disney on Ice Thursday through Tuesday. Appearances are also scheduled by country music artists Randy Houser and Jerrod Neimann, Canadian rock group Loverboy, singer songwriter Kelsey K, Mexican singer Diana Reyes, heavy metal band Sevendust and Building 429, a Christian rock band.
The fair runs through Sept. 22.
