PFLAG Norman hosts Pride picnic

PFLAG Norman's Pride Picnic will be Saturday, June 17th, at Norman's Rotary Park, 1501 W. Boyd Street.

PFLAG Norman will host its second annual Pride Picnic, Saturday, June 17th, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. There will be hot dogs, chips and drinks provided and organizers welcome additional sides to share. Tables are available, but bring chairs or blankets to ensure seating.  The event is free and open to the public and will be held at Norman’s Rotary Park, 1501 W. Boyd Street. 

"This year we are adding fun games and activities for children, families, and friends," say organizers. "There will also be tie-dye and craft stations set up to help PFLAG Norman prepare for their first-ever float in this year’s OKC Pride Parade on June 25th."   

Tyler Sellers, PFLAG Norman President says, “The Pride Picnic is a chance for the LGBT community, family, friends and supporters to unite together to promote respect and equality for everyone.”
