The Oklahoma City Philharmonic presents the 10th annual Red White & Boom concert - a free Independence Day celebration concert and fireworks display, Sunday, July 3 at 8:30 p.m. at State Fair Park. Presented by the OKC Phil as its annual gift to Oklahoma City, the concert is made possible through the committed support of The Inasmuch Foundation and other local businesses and individuals.

Led by Maestro Joel Levine, the family-friendly, 90 minute concert offers a variety of musical selections ranging from Irving Berlin to Lee Greenwood, and ABBA to George M. Cohan. Selections include an Armed Forces Tribute and John Philip Sousa's Stars and Stripes Forever. Performing with the Philharmonic are Broadway's superstar tenor Mike Eldred, OKC's Campbell Walker Fields and the Philharmonic Pops Chorale, directed by Vince Leseney. The concert concludes with the City's most spectacular fireworks display.

Says OKC Phil Executive Director Eddie Walker, "This free concert, presented as a gift to our entire community, is one of our favorite events of the year. We love providing meaningful opportunities to enjoy great music, and we hope everyone joins us for this wonderful celebration."

In addition to the founding presenting sponsor, the Inasmuch Foundation, support is provided by Dick and Glenna Tanenbaum, The Oklahoman, State Fair Park, Great Plains Coca-Cola Bottling Company, Oklahoma Contemporary, Magic 104.1 FM, the Oklahoma Arts Council, Allied Arts, and Adventure Road. Parking is free, and entrance to the Park is available through Gates 5 and 6 beginning at 6 p.m. On-site concessions will be available, and outside alcohol and glass bottles are not permitted.
