The enduring tale of Cinderella will delight audiences with the beauty and majesty of classical ballet wrapped in the promise of "happily ever after."

Inspired by the Brothers Grimm and Perrault fairy tales, Ballet Master Jacob Sparso will create this magical world premiere production complete with a fairy Godmother, awkward stepsisters, and an unforgettable ball.

Robert Mills will make a comeback to the stage “in travesty” for Cinderella as an Ugly Stepsister.

"In the earliest forms of theatre, female roles were played by boys or men,” said Rachel Robb Public Relations and Marketing Director for Oklahoma City Ballet. “Travesti is a theatrical term referring to the portrayal of a character in an opera, play, or ballet by the opposite sex. In our production of Cinderella, the Ugly Stepsisters will be played ‘in travesti’ by Artistic Director Robert Mills (each performance Oct. 17-19), with principal dancers Yui Sato and Ronnie Underwood alternating as the second Stepsister!"

Using Prokofiev's incredible score played by the Oklahoma City Philharmonic and fantastic sets and costumes, Cinderella will enchant everyone's little prince and princess.
