Video game lovers recently discovered hidden messages of support for the LGBTQ+ community in the new Marvel’s Spider- Man video game.

As people play the game they become Peter Parker and spend their days swinging through a modern-day New York City from his infamous webs.

In this new game, however, the beloved superhero is seen perched atop Pride flags and swinging past rainbow murals.

According to Mashable, LGBTQ+ users and other gamers are loving the positive support and representation of the game.

No one knows for sure yet how many flags and murals are scattered throughout the game, but people are on the lookout.

Fans of the Spider-Man video game have flooded social media with pictures and tweets demonstrating their appreciation for the flags and murals.

Art director for the game, Jacinda Chew, posted on Twitter she was happy to see people “noticing this detail.”

Many LGBTQ+ users, the Mashable reports, especially love the feeling of their community being seen and represented through a popular medium.

As time goes on, many members of the LGBTQ+ community hope this trend of representation continues.
