Springfield Little Theater presents Tuna Does Vegas

(Springfield, MO) Springfield Little Theater brings the hilarious fourth play of the Tuna ‘Trilogy’ to Springfield, May 8-17. The most recent addition to the Tuna Trilogy, Tuna Does Vegas reunites the lovable and eccentric characters from “Texas’s third smallest town.” The fun begins when oddball-conservative radio host Arles Struvie announces on air that he and his wife are heading to Vegas to renew their wedding vows.
The entire town decides to follow them to Sin City. Tuna Does Vegas parades an irresistible band of characters, all portrayed by only two speed-actors depicting all the inhabitants of Tuna – men, women, Vegas showgirls, Elvis impersonators and more. Come along for the riotous ride and remember, this time what happens in Vegas…is hilarious.
The Tuna plays are written by Jaston Williams, Joe Sears and Ed Howard.
The performance stars Beth Domann and Mark Gideon, and is directed by Jamie Bower. Dates for Tuna Does Vegas are Fridays May 8 and 15, Saturdays May 9 and 16, and Thursday May 14, at 7:30pm, and Sundays May 10 and 17 at 2:30pm.
Tickets are $25, with discounts for seniors, students, military, and children, are available by phone at (417) 839-1334, or online at www.springfieldlittletheatre.org.
