‘Head-Tie’ brings the beauty and rawness of gay relationships to the film festival screen

Muskogee Oklahoma—The Bare Bones International Film & Music Festival will be the venue of the U.S. premiere of the short film Head-Tie. Written by Amir Levi and Alan Weintraub, this short film tells the tumultuous story of an entire relationship within the span of ten minutes.

This film uses MMA-inspired choreography performed to the music of Alexander Tovar to ebb and flow through the highest and lowest points of a relationship between two men. Starring Amir Levi and Matt Poe as the two lovers, Head-Tie, is a beautiful and scarily real depiction of the many different formats that passion can take. From gentle caresses to rough movements, Levi and Poe expertly deliver a performance to which anyone who has ever been in a relationship can relate.

The film will be shown for the first time in the U.S. on Friday April 11 at 5:15pm at the Three Rivers Museum in Muskogee where the audience can immerse themselves in the roller coaster of emotions that the two main characters travel on together.

Viewers can experience the raw beauty and sensuality of a truly passionate and scarily real relationship in this silent film that does not need words to express its meaning. Be sure to make an appearance at this year’s Bare Bones International Film & Music Festival to get a chance to witness the beauty of Head-Tie on the big screen.
