“After achieving the historic firsts of full participation at the Conservative Political Action Conference, formal recognition from the Republican National Committee, and public commendation of Log Cabin Republicans from a sitting Republican president during my tenure, the future looks bright for Log Cabin Republicans; I wish Ms. Henry all the best as she continues to advance an inclusive, winning strategy.”

Log Cabin Republican initiatives for the next two years include much activism. At the top of their list is creating active and functional grassroots army of Republicans who identify as LGBTQ+ or allies. They plan to support legislation to bolster conservative principles while protecting the interests of the LGBTQ+ community. Further, they want to amplify the voice of LGBTQ+ individuals within the Republican Party, recruit LGBTQ+ and allied candidates for office and to attain new allies in Congress.
