Oklahoma bracing for more winter-like weather

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Oklahomans are bracing for more winter-like weather.
Television station KOCO reports that a strong low pressure system moving in from the southwest U.S. could affect the state by early Sunday.
A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for much of the state through 6 a.m. Monday. Abundant moisture, coupled with the cold air at the surface and aloft, will allow for sleet and snow to fall in the state.
Western Oklahoma will see sleet and snow develop overnight with precipitation spreading into central Oklahoma through the day Sunday.
Highs on Sunday will be near freezing. Winds should be lighter. Highs Monday will be in the upper 30s. Wednesday and Thanksgiving Day travel looks good as temperatures climb to the mid-40s to near 50 degrees under a mostly sunny sky.
