OKC's first all organic juice bar to open Jan. 14

Nichols Hills Plaza location to offer 100 percent organic juices and smoothies -
Oklahoma City’s first locally owned juice bar will open its doors to the public at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, January 14 at 6434 Avondale Dr. on the north side of Nichols Hills Plaza.
Organic Squeeze will serve freshly-made organic, grab-and-go, cold-pressed raw juices, as well as a variety of made to order smoothies and juices. They will also serve locally-made, all-natural snacks.
“My brother Mike and I got into juicing though our parents,” said co-owner Robert Rhodes. “We all believe in the power of juice, and my family is excited to share our passion with the world.”
The rise in popularity of organic, raw juices can be attributed in part to the success of the 2011 documentary “Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead,” which focuses on Joe Cross and his rise to health through juicing, and his quest to give the gift of health to others. So in addition to its many other recipes, Organic Squeeze will proudly serve bottles of “Joe’s Mean Green,” made from apple, cucumber, lemon, celery, kale and ginger.
Hours of operation will be 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, with free wi-fi available for customers.
