Approximately 8:30 this evening a stabbing incident took place at the corner of 4th and Frankfort, just blocks from where thousands of cheerful guests danced in the streets celebrating the happy times of the annual Tulsa Pride event.
The event occured just west of the Dennis R. Neill Equality Center in downtown Tulsa, It is unclear if the incident was related to the pride activities.
"When I walked by, I heard a girl screaming. Her face was just covered in blood and another girls' arm was cut," said witness John Fry. "It was kinda scary."
"One girl was cut across her face and then cut really bad down on her chest," another witness was heard saying. "That's the one they took off in the ambulance."
One of the victims who was treated at the scene was heard reporting to an officer, "I didn't know any of them except the one I was with. I don't know what happened. All of a sudden, this fifth girl just started slashing!"
Witnesses were taken for questioning. Corporal Peters of the Tulsa Police Department and other officers remained unavailable for comment.
